Nut Butters


2 cups of your nut of choice (peanuts, almonds, cashews)

Toss desired nuts into your Ninja blender (food processor) and pulse for 5 minutes.

*If you want a roasted flavor, simply roast the 2 cups of cups of nuts in the over for 5-10 mins or till golden & warm.

This is a great money saver!

Pesto Sauce


2 cups of spinach

1 cup of kale

1 cup of basil

3/4 cup of pine nuts or almonds

1/2 cup of olive oil

1/4 of Parmesan cheese or vegan Parmesan cheese

pinch of spoon of salt (optional)

3-4 cloves of garlic

First, grab the spinach, kale and basil, blend for 3-5 seconds. Add in the nut of choice & the rest of the Ingredients, pulse for 10-20 seconds until creamy and smooth.

Curry Paste


4 large shallots

4 large heads of garlic (FULL HEADS of garlic)

1 6-inch piece of fresh ginger

5-20 whole dried Thai chili peppers**

1 1/2 tablespoons salt

2-3 inches of fresh turmeric ( 2-3 teaspoons turmeric)

2-3 tablespoons mild curry powder

2 teaspoons roasted ground coriander

3 tablespoons lemongrass paste

1/4 cup of packed cilantro leaves

To get the most out of these ingredients, you are going to want to roast them in the oven at 350 degrees.

Peel shallots & drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil. Peel the ginger, lay flat on sheet pan in a single layer, drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil. Pull the outer paper off the garlic. Cut the tops the points heads of garlic to partially expose cloves then drizzle with olive oil, wrap each head of garlic in foil.

Bake for 15 minutes then unwrap the ginger slices.Remove the ginger (it should be soft).Increase the temperature to 400, and roast the shallots and garlic for another 30 minutes until golden brown and very fragrant.

While the aromatics are roasting, pour boiling water over the chili peppers to rehydrate them. Let them soak for 15 minutes. Drain the water.

Once all ingredients are done roasting and soaking, throw it all into your Ninja food processor & puree/pulse till desired consistency.

This recipe makes about 1 1/2 cups - 2 cups of curry paste.
